IMO we can see y/n and Hobby Experience and it will tell

What's not to believe in? The only reason not to QT is basically because you just don't feel like doing it. Its a matter of the hobbyist just not wanting to bother with it. I don't know how it can be argued that the process of quarantining serves no purpose.

Precisely. It is rather silly for others to tell hobbyists not to bother. I do hope that their fish are fine, but the chances are so large that they will have problems. We will be here to help.

I know but if the new hobbyist see the yes and the Hobby Experience thay will see that a q/t tank is a must.

I was wondering how long everyone QT's their fish? I have heard many different answers... ranging from 2 weeks to 6 weeks. Any opinions?!?

For me no less than 4 weeks but typically 6.

I quarantine for 3 weeks. That seems to be sufficient to get a newcomer feeding well and for any diseases to manifest themselves.

Minimum 4 weeks during which time I do hyposalinity on all new fish.
