not true , we have the best pitching in baseball , good luck with damons allready weak arm that also has a injured shoulder in that very deep center field in yankee stadium , boy did you guys over pay for him ........... and for what , to have a scapegoat next season when you find out that he and the yankees made the biggest mistakes of their carreers , im over Damon i hoping we pick up coco crisp , much faster same average more homers , better fielder stronger arm , smaler contract money wise and still young ......... you guys are gonna regret that sign for 58 mill big time , my honest opinion is that you guys will be looking to trade or just flat out release him next year because nobody is going to want him ......... good luck with that 2 faced liability in your deep deep deep center field.
Oh and most cursed team in sports Chicago Cubs OR
New York Yankees , they keep stacking their team with big money players and falling short year after year , how do you have a 169 million dollar pay roll (Biggest in the league by 40 million) and not win the world series year after year , that is a curse of a lifetime .......... the yankees need to ditch torre and get somebody who can manage the most talent in the league , there is no excuse not to win the world series when you have jhnson muesina jeter matzui brown , bernie williams gordan posada giambi sheffielda rod and rivera , THAT TEAM IS STACKED and they have done nothing with it since 2000 that is a hell of a curse when the last 6 teams that have one the world series had a payroll under 90 million and the majority of the team were propevts you guys let DAVE ROBERTS beat you in the 04 play offs , we gave you a 3-0 series lead and then out right swept you HAHAHA that is a great start to a curse ,,,,,,,, and what a curse it is , its called the highest pay roll and the oldest players curse

Doubt it! Crisp is with my team the tribe and ESPN rated the tribe #1 in the 2006 season (as in winning the world series) Indians were one of the best baseball teams last yr and they are only getting better. Too bad we traded Kevin Milwood. If you look at the tribes stats from last yr it only makes you wonder how they didnt make the playoffs. They will this yr though.
GO TRIBE!

Oh, and while were at it, my Brewers haven't tasted postseason since 1982. While this season was a disaster, i hope my packers don't start a downward trend now. Can't put them in as cursed though- 12 World Championships!

the packers wont stay down for long , the gm is to smart and will make some good moves now that farve isnt going to be taking up most of the cap
Also if Farve does retire this year , He WILL go down is a legend , im not a Packers Fan but that QB fought through thick and thin , and made things happen , even through injuries ..... all around great guy and the league was lucky to have him.

No one seems to mention this, but what about the curse of the San Francisco Giants. No World Series since leaving New York.
Call it curse of the Magic Needle . . . oh no, wait, that is the curse that is hampering Bond's knees.
