The sage of "Fluffy", who has me concerned

Ok, now "Fluffy", my maroon clown, is a little off his/her food, and seems to me, breathing a little heavier. Do clowns get like this sometimes? Could this be related to the tail/butt swishing thing in the sand? Does "Fluffy" need a mate??? I'm worried. I should be in bed now, have to get up at 4:00 a.m. to go to dog shows. Instead, I'm out here fretting about "Fluffy" and testing my water, which everything, nitrites, nitrates, ph, alk, calcium, salinity etc. are normal. What's up with "Fluffy"!!!

I would say it relative to him wanting a mate.....I wouldn't worry too much right now....however, please keep us posted as to his condition.

Ok, well "Fluffy" is still not eating. I'm really worried now because he/she always eats. What should I do??

I don't think it has much to do with him wanting a mate, it sounds like theres something wrong with him. I had a clown do the same and he died shortly after, not quite sure what it is but its not a normal thing for clowns to do. Maybe post this in the disease forum.

Well my tank has been set up for a while now and today Fluffy started eating a little again. I went and got some live brine, so now I'm going to try that as a treat.

Ok, Fluffy, the clown is past her episode with PMS. I guess I'll have to change the name to "Fluffette":D
