Also, the flats are overrated.

We've always had very good teams- just seams like there was always that 1 team we couldn't beat... ie Cavs - Bulls... Browns-Broncos... as for OSU vs. Michigan... all I can say is 1 out of 5 and App..State.
OSU basketball is better
OSU football- better
CAVS - Better
BROWNS compared to Lions--- we both suck but we are currently an expansion team pretty much... and you have Matt Miillen...
We won 9 championships in NFL in 50's and 60's
BROWNS should be decent this year... I was a Brady Quinn skeptic at first, but I must admit... he looked great in preseason, even after holding out for so long... expect good things from him in future.
I forgot about Indians.... Better
All D-Town has got is WNBA and hockey- which are sports that no one cares about, except for hockey which only people in the extreme north like.

No argument here. Bill Ford has shown loyalty to imbeciles who he happens to like, (Millen, Wayne Fontes, etc). But it really doesn't matter much to Ford because we have a beautiful venue and he will always sell out the games.

I actually like Detroit though... I know some areas are known for crime and etc.. but I spent 8 wks up there once for job training and it was cool... I stayed mostly in Troy which was a nice area...
I have a friend that plays in a band up there called "HotSauce" - heard of them?
By the way flats are supposed to be coming back... now we have the Warehouse District which serves the same purpose and is more trendy.

No I haven't but that doesn't mean much. I don't get into the local band scene very much.

The best back I have seen that played on a crap team
He would of smashed the rushing record if they would of traded him.He gave them a choise trade me or I retire and he stayed true to his word.Shows you he didn't play the game for money only for the love of playing and just wanted to be on a winning team

You really think Wayne Fontes was that bad? Those were the glory days for Detroit were they not? Or was that just because #20 was running the ball 30 times a game.

Glory days for the Lions is not saying much. He was the winningest coach in Lions history... and also the losingest coach. By Lion's standards, John Kitna is the best quarterback we've had since Bobby Layne. Again, not saying that much.

What about the great Scott Mitchell? Erik Kramer? Actually Kramer was pretty good....I hope Jon has a good year, he is a good fellow, of course I only knew him before he became a born again christian....Not that there is anything wrong with that.

They should do that every year the NFC sucks. The worse the should be is a 500 team.Their is really only 5 good NFC teams. The AFC has at least 10 that are playoff worthy teams. They need to do away with divisions and only let the best teams in the league play in the playoffs.

The Pistons and Red Wings appear to be middle of the pack playoff teams. And my lions are... well they are the lions.
I guess my only hope is that the tigers get in the A-Rod sweepstakes in the offseason and their pitching staff stays healthy next year. Other than that, all hope is lost...

lol i don't count the shock either... but i do think the redwings will be good

It's kind of annoying watching a team like New Orleans. These guys were a laughing stock for a long time. They built up their offensive line, picked the right draft pick and signed Drew Brees and look at them now. The lions didn't even look at Brees, they went for Kitna and McCoun during that offseason. It's not that hard to make a quick turnaround in the NFL but the lions just can't seem to make the right moves.

My team looked at Breeze but desided on Culpeper.I know what you mean.We all know how that worked
Should fire the Dr how sayed Culpeper was healthier than Breeze. With injury is really is a crap shoot though.Another wonderful pic up from Nick Saban.
