yes, but if i picked every individual profile and see when they last logged in, i would be done pulling avatars in september. i may do a revision, but that depends on when i get done, and how good 2,000 avatars will look on a collage.

I WILL BE MAKING 2 COLLAGES.
1 will consist of about 2,000 avatars.
the other will consist of users that have posted in the aquarium recently. meaning, i will only pull avatars from Aquarium posts, not the member list. The posts must be on the first 25 threads. i will also throw in some members that may have not posted recently, but everyone knows. most people that post in the Aquarium are the more "serious" or "active" users.
i will release the active member collage first, then i will release the larger one.

there are a lot of dog avatars, mostly pugs.
there are about 30 people here that went to Texas A&M (username or avatar)
a lot of avatars are FTS including the stand.

so, wait, whats going on? are you using the avatars to make the SWF logo? like one of those posters that looks like an eagle or something but its made up of like, kids' school pics? im confused.

no....
image playing the card game "52 pickup". except instead of numbers and hearts or clubs or spades or diamonds, they will be users avatars. and 2,000 of them.
you are thinking of this:

it will be that, but take away Abe Lincolns face, and the pictures will be tilted and in random-ish spots. meaning, the pics will not be lined up and square.
it will have the SWF logo as a centerpiece. trust me, this will look awesome.

yes you will!

the concept is that every avatar will be arranged and look like a sloppy mess from 5 feet away, but at close range you can see all the avatars individually. the SWF logo will appear to be rising from the avatars due to some photoshop effects.

phew! 500 pages! 793 Avatars! on pace for 1,992 avatars.
i think i will go to page 628 tonight (half way) and call it quits 'till tomorrow.
