The worlds worst venom

Contrary to popular belief, Chuck Norris, not the box jellyfish of northern Australia, is the most venomous creature on earth. Within 3 minutes of being bitten, a human being experiences the following symptoms: fever, blurred vision, beard rash, tightness of the jeans, and the feeling of being repeatedly kicked through a car windshield.

I tuned in after seeing this thread... it was pretty good. I was a bit surprised that the stonefish wasn't discussed.

conus snail. They kill about 70 human beings annually with a witch's brew of toxins and neurotoxins.

Yeah. Blue ring octos, cone snails. Not to mention Jaws!!!!
Sharks are not the most dangerous creatures. They are not creatures that go around looking to attack people in our oceans.

My friend lives in Australia and wants me to come visit her but I'm so scared because of all the poisonous things! And I hate bugs.

One of the guys I work with lived in Australia for 6 months or so setting up a branch office out there.
He tells stories about the stuff that lives there... he told me one story about the gigantic spider that was crawling up the wall in his house.... he came running when his wife shrieked. He knocks it to the floor and drops a full size hardcover book on it. This spider is so big that the legs suck out on all sides around the book after it landed on it.
Seems like neat place!
