my xbox has....passed away today...

it's the PLAGUE. the red ring of death. has anyone else had this happen or know someone who had it happen? how long did it take you/them to get the xbox back after you sent it to get fixed?
my xbox was like family....

It happened to mine...I got it back in 2-3 weeks....Actually it was a brand new one..not my old 1 re-furbished.

IMO PS3 smokes the 360, who cares if it doesn't have halo, at least it has blue ray and top of the line technology. Not saying the 360 doesn't but i would put my money towards a PS3 rather than a 360. Also, just wait for more of the games to come out and we will see which one is on top!

Thats what I was thinking....Get your info straight..I have already beat assassins creed on the 360...And for the Record...Halo 3 SUCKS!! Unreal Tourn.3 will blow it away..and they have projected Call Of Duty 4 to be Game Of The Year, over Hablow3

when you speak to the people on the phone, tell them you are unhappy and will tell everyone about your experience. they are authorized to offer you 2 free games to appease you if you have them talk to their supervisor.

i am on my 3rd 360. they basically replace it with a brand new one in about 10 days. very quick turn around. no problems since, and they have the 1 year warrantee now.

assassins creed is on like eveyrthing i think. i can't wait to get it...
yeah were gonna have to send it back. but i don't want a new one, won't i loose all my points and stuff?? i don't have live yet cause our internet sucks in the middle of no where but i wanna save it up till i do.

umm if you have XBL, then you keep your achievements, you also dont send back your HD so you will keep your achievements there if not on XBL ( I THINK ). however on some games, save points may not work.

Anyone have any stats on frequency of RRoD for 360's? Because almost every single person in my grade with a 360 has experienced it...
