Hey everyone I have a 12 gallon nano cube DX with moonlights that has been up and running for 48 days. I cycled for almost a month even though I realized afterwards that I didn't need to cycle at all because my LR was from my old system but oh well better safe than sorry. My levels have been stable since about a week after the tank was setup with only small changes every once and a while. I do 2 gallon water changes every third day using reef crystals. I left only the sponges and carbon as filtration. I replace carbon every month. I upgraded to a maxi jet 900 in the back and tunze mini in the actual tank. That gives me 30-35 turnover per hour. Also added a casette tape to the intake so it skims the surface. I feed every other day and feed DT's, frozen mysis shrimp, formula one pellets, and prime reef flakes. Lights are on 9 hours a day and moonlights are on about 10 hours. Growth is amazing the clove polyps nearly doubled in 2 weeks and the button polyps and zoas are also doubling quickily. I use a red sea marine lab and a portable refractometer to test my water. All the rest of the specs are below as well as some pics. From here on out I plan on only adding corals. LMK what you think. -Greg

Hm...its kinda hard to explain but basically I took half of the case and it fits nicely around the intake and is held on by suction. When you get the tanks just play around with a tape case and youll see how to do it.
