Tested my water today...levels are below. Also my RO DI unit comes tomorrow and my frag tank is coming along nicely. It should be ready to hold corals in about 2 weeks. O and I finally have some coraline algea growth in the cube. The only reason my SG is lower than normal is cuz I mixed the water at 1.022 instead of 1.026 on accident. No big deal. LMK if you have any suggestions. Thanks. -Greg

Ya sometimes growth isnt always good.....my clovepolyps were out of control until today when I spent over an hour picking them off of the rocks. I think I'll avoid clovepolyps and xenia in this small of tank from now on.

yeah I used to have xenia in my 75 and the growth was out of control. They would fill up every space in the aquairum that wasn't occupied by another coral and covered the whole back of the tank. I would pull out 20 to 30 stalks when it came time to harvest it. I would keep your clove polyps though, I think they look soooo good.

Ya they are cool but I want a variety of corals not one huge patch of clove polyps. I think when the frags I made of them start to grow again I'll put one on the back of my tank and try to create a living background that would be pretty cooll and easy to control if they grew to much.

yeah it is easy to pull them off the glass. maybe you just need to start a clove polyp only tank. that would be cool. Like a 10 long with a wave simulator thing to make them sway around wand stuff. It would be like a concept tank.
