Seahorses are very social fish. Since Valiant is already in the QT, would adding a new horse to the QT help his recovery and at the same time have the new horse treated and quarintined too???

if you wanted to go that rout (which would be a fun expirement) i would set up a tv with a loop of a seahorse swimming around and see if he reacts positively to it.... if your gonna do it, or even put in another horse i would like to know how it goes, this could be interesting

Hmm...interesting thought! LOL just like they have videos for cats and dogs!!!!! I can see it now!!!! Just like when the scientific study revealed dogs and cats have feelings....well that was a no brainer......don't leave your fish home alone again. Get him a DVD of his favorite communtiy fish!!!!

Hmm....I'll try that tomorrow. I have some clips of seahorses swimming online. Be interesting to see what he thinks.

I don't know that I would intro a new horse until you know Valiant has a clean bill of health. In his weakened state, I wouldn't risk his health, or the health of a new one, either way. I'd wait til Valiant is back in the DT and QT a new one separately.
I know my birds enjoy mirrors...
