Well I got my first order from some place that sells just about snails and that's it.....WELLLLLL...They shipped it to my home address...not my work address that I SPECIFIED..WELLLLLL...it's about 100 degrees in Oklahoma...so what do you think I got....A BOX of DEAD SMELLY SNAILS
over 100 of them too!!!!
I am still waiting for them to contact me....
This is the LAST time I ever go anywhere beside SWF....

SWF may not always have what I need, but what good is it if it comes dead

LOL...well they would have been okay if they came to the right place....
so far I think 10 are alive...no ceriths though

After smelling these..lol...I may never eat escargot again...

So far it seems None of the 50 ceriths are alive....maybe 8 of the nerites are, 3 nassarius....and some itty bitty somethings....

That sucks. This is why I don't buy anything online. Never know how it is going to be when you get it.

Usually...when I order from swf...my stuff is great...these people made a mistake with shipping
they will fix it too...they already said they would

Yes but even if you are buying from a reliable source you still can't see the exacte product you are getting. Plus the company might be reliabe but some new guy on the shipping team might make a mistake and ....

Well mistakes happen...for those of you that are lucky enough to have a lfs to go to...that's great....I have no where to go...so it is online for me...

Well with LFS they are trying to make a quick buck and so not good advice usually and plus usually have poor livestock. So it is a win/win or lose/lose which ever sounds happier.

I hear ya sister, I ordered from SWF last week and my package came yesterday and the FEDEX people delivered and left it at the wrong house!!! When 3:00 had come and gone with no package I tracked it and it said it had been delivered at 1:24. So I had to call FedEx who told me that it was there to have to argue with them and say I have been home all day and no package had arrived. Well the finally go ahold of the driver who had to go across town and get the package and bring it back to me. Luckily everything appeared to be OK except the pods, I'm pretty sure the pods were dead but I dumped them in the tank anyway, not going to sweat it. The box was warm and I hope nothing else stressed too much, right now it's all still alive. ARG!! BTW I'm very impressed with SWF, this was my first order from them, but I will order again

You can't make a blanket statement like that. The stores in my area are great.

That is why I said "usually". Some LFS are great and others can not be so great so I just depends on where you go I guess. Sorry I should have frased it better.

WELL....seems like 90% did not make it...I spoke to the people, and they are going to replace the whole order.
