They're Everywhere!

I started out (around 3 or 4 months) with about 20 or so on a couple of small rocks. Now they're spreading all over the tank and probably number in the hundreds. There are more than what's in the pics I just couldn't get a pic of all of them because of where they are at.
From the Front

From the Side

Short Move

To the Middle

To the Opposite End Somehow

On the FD near the middle, what's the brown stringy thing? It's coming out of the mouth area.

Well if you wanna send me a teeny tiny little rock I'd be happy to take it off your hands!

I can't find any except the occasional way deep in the crevices of the LR

I would even be wiling to take them off your hands free of charge =)
It's probably a good sign of water quality that they are reproducing that much.

The fact that you have that many healthy filter feeders......well.......one might think you feed too much.

I might. I feed the fish once a day and add a capful of DT's every 3 days.
If any of you really want some we might be able to work something out.

FD's proliferating like that in a tank is a sign of excess nutrient. That being said without knowing what other things are in your system, but for sure an invansion of FD's means there is a lot of things for them to feed on.

Hey stop complaining, that looks really nice.
If you are talking to me I am not complaining and I agree it does look nice. I would like to see a FTS of it. I am just saying why it happens.

Here you go. Sorry it's not the best pic it's all I have on my computer right now. It's a couple of months old so they've grown out a lot more since then (and less algae to) and I've added a couple of other things. The big group of FDs are on the left side of the tank and to the right of the cabbage leather.
