thin brown snail/ purple body.

i got a hitch hicker with a peice of sea fan, and it is a snail, tiny, brown thin shell and a purple body. i was wondering if anybody knows if it is a good snail or bad before putting him into my tank..????

no pic , sorry, i took him down to the lfs, they had no idea what kind of snail it was. so i put him into my tank... we will see what happens.. its the coolest snail i have ever seen. he also has little white spikes on his shell. he is awesome.....
