Thin film on glass

I have a thin film on the inside of my tank that is all over the glass. I added 45lbs of LR 10 days ago, and I added 60lbs base rock this past week. Anyone know what this could be? I wiped my hand across the inside of the tank and it felt a little slimy, but not that bad (could have been my imagination). There also seems to be tons of very small particles floating in the tank. The tank is still very much cycling, any info would be great. Thanks!

it seems to be clear ... when lights are off (i have been leaving them off during the whole cycle) i can't see it at all. However, today I just wanted to look at the tank with some light and that's when I noticed the film. Maybe a white to green tint to it, but very light, but very evident as well when the lights are on.

With marine aquaria you will always have stuff on your glass at one point or another...buy a scraper and scrape it off.

just sounds like some good ole green algea starting to grow on the glass. As others said a clean up crew and a tank scraper are your best friends to keep it in check.
