Thinkin about gettin a reef tank!

I am thinking about gettin a reef tank. Right now ihave a 30 gallon and i am goin to upgrade in a while. I was goin to get a 55-75 gallon tank and going reef. Is it really that much harder to take care of a reef? THe only problem is i dont have a qt. tank. Does greenex work good for ick? Also if i do set up a qt. is a 10 gallon enough. Or could i just take my 30 gallon and use that as a qt? Sorry for all the ?s but im new to the reef.

Hey,
If you've kept salt water tanks and have mastered maintaining good water quality a reef tank wont be a problem for you. Do your research. Just like fish, all corals don't get along nor do they have the same lighting and water movement requirements.
