Might have to play a little with the length and width of the sump a little.....Figuring an external pump allowing at least 10"-11" for pump......

I have my eye on a sheet of 1/2" acrylic.....Price is excellent, but depends on the brand bottom line.

The issue I am seeing now with the external pump is that the ones that I am researching might be too strong for my current system. Can someone point me in the right direction of one that might be more size appropriate for the current system?

What skimmers were you looking at that are to big for the 55?
