The only commonly available angler that you might have a chance keeping with a fuzzy is A. maculatus (wartskin angler). Proper ID is a must, as it's a member of the "pictus complex", which includes A. pictus (painted angler) and A. commersoni (Commerson's/giant angler), both of which could easily eat an adult fuzzy.
To be honest, IMHO, an adult maculatus might give your fuzzy a try anyhow, which would likely kill both fish. I know there are folks who keep anglers with other fish, but I've always considered them a species tank fish.
