Thinking about getting a lionfish, wondering about food.

Hey all,
I'm not even a little close to actually buying a lionfish yet, but I had a few questions about food while I'm still doing research.
1) I am thinking about feeding live fish as more of a treat. Would it be okay to breed (saltwater acclimated) mollies and feed them periodically without the lionfish getting too spoiled to eat anything else?
2) What kinds of frozen foods can you feed lionfish? Could I feed tilapia, salmon, flounder, swai, scallops, cod, or frozen shrimp from the grocery store? A better question might be is there any kinds of frozen fish that should not be fed to a lionfish?
3) What kinds of variety would you recommend in order to ensure a healthy lion diet?
That's about all I can think of at the moment, but I'm sure I will have a million more questions shortly, hahaha.

Once your fish is weaned, you can indeed offer live mollies on occasion, but I'd wait until the fish is a solid stick-feeder, just in case it wants to "backslide". Oddly enuff, most of our fish are SO well-trained to the stick, many of them will pass up live food in favor of the stick if both are offered concurrently.
You have the right idea with the foods, altho Tilapia is a FW species, so we don't feed it to our fish.
FWIW, we generally alternate foods per week...3 feedings of one food for the week, then the next week, they get something else, and go in rotation like that.

Awesome! Thank you so much for your help. I know a lot of people feed krill and frozen silversides, but my grocery store has a large selection of seafood at very reasonable prices, and I am very much a fish eater myself, so it would be super convenient if I could feed the both of us on the same kinds of frozen fish, hahaha.

I mostly fed mine frozen shrimp. And on the occasion bought live saltwater shrimp or other "goodies"
