Ready to go, you can see in the picture they are running. I am not sure how old they are, but thet are in great condition. One ballast looks older than the other, but they are both the same model #, and one bulb is a coralife 10,000K, and the other bulb is not marked. I bought them used about a month ago and decided not to do a second big tank. I still have a 55 and another 125. Same price as above. These are $299.00 per pendant here in St. Louis so I think $235 shipped is fair.

Its a great zoo, the last time I was there I could not find their reefs, but I was told they are in the main entrance building. Let me know which weekend. I got three little rug rats that like to go. There is a real good marine shop right off of the highway on your way in. Not the best in St. Louis but pretty good.

we are planning on being off of manchester and henry st this next weekend. we were trying for this weekend but it was too quick to get our key plans straightened out.
meet up with you this next saturday? my fiance is awesome with kids so if you want a day off we'll help you out at the zoo! maybe let the women take the kids and we'll get into the fish inspections?

if your kids are into fish i'm down with them tagging along too. my degree is in teaching so as you can guess i like kids.
mary's a sociology(sp? :( ) major and vet asst, so she's pretty nuts about kids and animals also. :joy:

Well theres Marine Solutions in St. Charles, that is the largest, and then Clayton Pet Emporium, they are smaller, but have very high quality corals and fish, the fish have a 2 week guarantee (with a water sample). They are expensive, but great.
CARDINALS WON!!!!!!!

I have never seen pendant lights like that, but they sure look nicer than the usual hanging strip. Anyone have good/bad experiences with them? How wide a cone of light do they produce? Would the two lights be sufficient for a 48" 55g?
