If you were to say "I like Obama because he favors socialized healthcare" nobody is going to challenge you on your choice. The thing is there has been a plague of false information about Obama being repeated by his supporters. That is the reason those of use who are not in the tank for him have the links handy to set the record straight. You mentioned fresh ideas and someone asked you what those were. I don't really think that is out of line.

If you read my posts you'll see I do "challenge" them. When people talk about "change" I point out Obama's change is against the Constitution. When people talk about how bad off our country is I point out the actual numbers. When people discuss Iraq I point out the truth about how the war began...
Btw, you'll never see mr posting about what a great candidate McCain is. He is too liberal for my taste. I've made that very clear. I'm voting more against Obama than I am McCain.
The Government's roll is not to provide for you or me or anyone else. The Government's roll is to allow you "life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness".
How will Obama provide food for your son? How will Nationalizing two of the biggest industries in our Nation improve your condition? How will raising the Capital Gains Tax (thus cutting investments in domestic companies) made your pay check any greater?

Yet you have the money handy to buy a saltwater aquarium and over stock it with fish....not to mention do everything you posted about doing to save the fish that were dying........Sorry, but I don't buy it...or as a single mother you need to change some priorities in my estimation.

You'll have about as much luck finding the word "rapture" as "muslim" in the Bible....
Rylan's point is correct however. The Bible does not go into that kind of detail as to who the Anti-Christ is.
Rylan, for what it is worth, the frustration you feel right now after reading the post you quoted is probably close to the frustration many of us feel when you post equally false information.

as someone who lives in gettysburg, i want to say that the civil war is not glorified! the civil war was a HUGE part of our history! it was the only time in our country that we banded together for something that we believed in. the reason people visit gettysburg isn't because they are celebrating the war, it is because want to see the sacrifice that those men made. by no means is the civil war glorified! just wanted to clarify that.

You need to pick up your history book again. We pulled together pretty well in WWII. Building 12 bombers a day, a fighter every 8 minutes. 340,000+ aircraft during the war not to mention tanks jeeps artillery. Our soldiers didn't do to bad on the battlefield either.

first of all, when you recieve disablilty the money you recieve is very litlle to live on. my brother and my boyfriend help me with pretty much everything. i like reading up on things and learning stuff, physically it would be impossible for me to run a tank on my own as well. my brother has served three terms in iraq and is waited to be approved to go for a fourth, and he will tell you that I am the reason that he fights for his country. this country is supposed to take care of the citizens that cannot take of themselves.i don't recieve any help from the goverment, in fact if i was capable of working don't you think i'd rather be doing that? i did attend school for years for a degree. i don't expect a handout from anyone, but i have gone to recieve help when needed. and yes i did ask for help and was denied, but it IS needed. my priorites are in order, sir. thats why i asked for help in the first place.

This country is not founded on "taking care of people", quite the opposite, the gov't should be gettingout of our lives, not in our lives. That's why I give to my Church, Goodwill ,and Salvation Army to help others. I pray I will never need their services, and I pray for those that do. As soon as I pay off my med school bills I hope to go on a medical mission to help others.
As far as a McCain lovefest, not for me, as he is on the wrong end of immigration, global warming, and taxes, but considering the socialist he is running against, I have no option.

well i had applied for food and for my son to have healthcare. and because i had to include my bro and my boyfriends income.so basically we made to much as a family. but i pay about 200-250 for my meds each month. i have had 2 surgeries this year and will hopefully have the surgery that fixes my current health problem very soon. i am currently home bound and am only allowed to go to doctor's. i was born with a condition called ehlers danlos snydrome and have scoliosis as well as diabetes, so i am kinda outta touch with current affairs!

yes they do! there was no way outta it. they want to know who lives in the house and how much they make as well as how many hours they work. what can ya do? i am not a scammer, i couldn't lie, i had to say the truth. so i was denied. and apparently, they are responsible for my son's health insurance too. that was the depressing part for me. i can go to the health department and all but if something happens to him, i have to think long and hard about him going to a doctor's. of course if it was serious i wouldn't hesitate. but yeah you have to apply as family. all income included.

oh i have lots of help, my family takes good care of me. just things get tight when you have food prices high, electric jacked up, and a car that dosen't want to go (my boyfriends). sometimes you gotta reach out and you shouldn't be ashamed. i never asked to be in the position i am, i have nothign to be ashamed of. i'm one of a million that struggle with health issues. i was very upset while i was getting denied there was a woman next to me with a gucci bag!! made me want to smack her! not everyone is a scam, there are alot of people that try and just have to depend on the system, but to show up with your gucci bag is unacceptable. shocking!

If you have been disabled for 6 months and your disability is expected to last a year or longer sign up for social security disability. That will get you and your son health coverage.
