This is a cool way to start corals!!

i saw a thing online where you could buy frag disks that could be attatched to the glass with a magnet
i guess it is so you could start corals out on the glass and let them spread and cover the back glass
the magnets were epoxy coated so they wont hurt the corals
what do you guys thank about this??

i think i know which ones youre talking about. whats the name of it? i think its just in case you dont have any room to put any frags on your sandbed or rock you can place them on the glass
but im not sure if were thinking of the same company. the one im thinking of is www.aqua-mags.com

I think it's a great idea. I'm thinking of doing it with a rainbow montipora. Do you guys thing that would work. That would be a beatiful background I think.

I was just looking at those, pretty neat idea. Sounds like they did a good job on sealing the magnet and metal parts. I have to admitt that I was about to order some of these. Anyone ever try them?

Make sure you don't get any metal in the tank, if you do, welcome to hair algea, and problems

if you just stick a fraqg into the corner of your tank it will spread up the walls,, expecially with a matt of GSP..butt ive also saw SPS like this

In my mantis tank I have a very fast growing porites, already has grown a bit in the last 2 weeks!!! But I put it high up, but close to the back wall/corner so Im hoping ittl spread. Ive seen these magnets DIY'd as little 1piece shelves, for frag tanks to add space. if u use old hard drive magnets be EXTRMELY CAREFUL these are EXTREMELY powerful, and if U allow tehm to freely attract, as in snap together u may have shattered aquarum glass.
