This blue damsel was having a few problems over the last few days, woke up this morning to find that my Duncans were trying to finish him off.

I should add that when a fish dies, I usually leave it in the tank depending on it's size. I figure what the Duncans don't finish the crabs will..

That is cool...didn't really realize that corals would eat fish...LOL...Good riddance...damsels are satan's spawn....even though they look small and cute....I will never grow tired of saying this...I will NEVER again buy a damsel with the exception of green chromis in schools.

The one eating the damsel is an ORA Duncan the ones in the background are also Ducans, L side is another unkown Ducan, I thinks its ORA. The one on the R side is just basic Duncan, really interesting, ultra fast grower, not as neon green as ORA's. 6 Babies in 4 weeks!

You have to give corals credit, seriously tried to eat the whole damsel, but after a few hours the duncan spit out the rest of the fish, now the crabs have taken over.

.
It's really interesting how a tank will dispose of a dead fish. Crabs, snails & worms all come out for the buffet, kinda like a "treat" for the tank.

There's a lot of sites selling Duncans, just as with any coral it all depends on coloration and actual source that will determine the actual price.
Some of the basic, or light green, cream colored Duncans can be picked up for $15-25 per polyp.
ORA Duncans which are neon green can cost $50-$80 per polyp.
Point is, if you find some Duncans for $50, it may or may not be a good deal, the brighter neon green the better.
