Well, I woke up this morning to find a leak. My dad is going to come over and look at it. The tank I have is like 10 years old. I got it from a friend for free. Should I buy a new tank because it is such an old tank? Thanks.

The tang police will say no. I think a young yellow tang will be fine for a while.
that and w/ each increase in size comes large cost jumps. Lighting and equipment typically costs more because its larger and you'll need more LR, LS, etc to fill the needs.
Get what you can afford and I'm sorry about the leak.
I'd opt for the bigger tank too, a 75 or 90 is only 6" wider from front to back compared to a 55(Doesn't take really much more or bigger equipment than the 55, maybe a couple more lights if you wanted, but don't have to), just my opinion. I hope you can get it taken care of soon, leaks can become catastrophic in a hurry some times.
Good luck with whatever you decide to go with.
Matt
if you can fit a 55, you should be able to fit a 75, same dimensions just a little wider. ever since i got my 55 i have wished that i listened and went with a 75

ya if its new that sounds good. what kind of filter???
I am going to ***** and Petsmart tomorrow. I will look for kits. The only kits I saw at my LFS was for freshwater. But the other LFS had the better deal on the 55 with the rounded edges.

Yep, it is brand new. It comes with 3 bags of sand also. I don't know what type of filter yet, I am going there this morning.
