I have a leather bag. I just put the fish bag in my bag and zipped it up. Since I got a few we filled the carry bag at the fish store. I had not expected to get fish while I was there.
And he got to fly first class.

Since you are leaving the country, consider customs. They are very strict about bringing animals and fish into the country without permits. This could set you back on your plans on bringing fish back from the carribean.

Is it legal to bring fish or any kind of livestock on the airlines? Or is it alright as long as it's within the country?

Good point on the customs...didn't think of that. Well, I guess I'll just have to enjoy the reefs there and not take any souvenirs home. The fish always look happier in the wild anyway. :D

maybe i can answer some of your questions. He was in the bag for about 9 hours total. We picked up the fish on our way to the airport the last day. They were holding them for me. There was not a problem with customs since we were still in the country. But in hawaii they cannot sell coral or live rock. Anyhow he did fine going through the scanners and we drip acclimated him when we got home at 7am. It was a long day.

I will have to take some. He does not like to stay still for very long. I might have to do it at feeding time.
