That's what I'll be doing this fall. My youngest made the cheerleading squad at her school, so I'll be hittin' every game.
HHMMMMMM Reef like cheerleader, got picture?

Just kidding man, Thats cool. Just remember, according to a recent court ruling cheerleading isn't a sport

My cousins daughters played softball on a travel team. He could have bought season floor seats for the Lakers for what that cost him but he had a whole lot more fun coaching his girls.

Yeaa, don't even talk about the cost. The first meeting we had with the coach, she handed us a packet that explained the 'mandatory fees'. Without the mandatory membership to this Gymnastic/Cheer studio at $100/month she has to join, the total came to just under $1,000. This is for clinics, SIX uniforms, megaphone, and some other useless crap I can't remember. Then of course she made the Competitive Team, so that's another $800, plus they get the luxury of going to the National Competition in Orlando for the tune of another $1000. They're supposed to have fundraisers to deter some of the costs, but that ends up being the parents having to sell useless Christmas Wrap or frozen Cookie Dough.

I guess I'm getting off a little cheaper than a buddy of mine. His daughter is playing Volleyball, and he tells me that after having to pay for competitions and joining a Club Team, he's out close to $6,000/year. So much for athletics in Public Schools being paid by our taxes...
