Thomas - BTA anemone questions

Hey Thomas - well just to refresh you. I got a GBTA on Friday and yesterday I had moved it out from behind my filter to a rock. I fed it there 3 pieces of krill and it stayed all day. HOWEVER last night it moved again. Down toward the sand below the filter intake again
Well I got it again on another rock and it has hung out there all day. I feed it again in this spot, but it looks like it may be inching its way off this one too.
Questions: Is it ok if I keep moving it? Should I just let it move around for a few more days?

My cardinal fish (which is very tiny) seems to be hanging out in it alot. Is this ok? Will these fish keep my clowns from hosting if they are near it? My clowns seem interested in it, but haven't gotten in it yet. When I try to move it or get near it my female clown goes nuts, trying to bite me.
She had NEVER done this before the BTA. Is this a good sign as far as hosting goes?

I would stop trying to move it, continually moving it only causes it more stress. It will decide where it wants to go, but first it must explore your tank after all this is an animal not a coral.
Not sure on Cards hanging out IN? anemones, might want to check with Bang Guy on that one.
As to the biting, get used to it, its going to happen alot more now, and yes its probably a good sign.

OK thanks. I guess I will start a thread for Bang. Does he usually hang out here or in another forum?

He is usually in his recliner in the shark tank, devising a way to make a bi-level lagoon.
I'll flag him down for you and point him at this thread.

There are a few types of Cardinalfish that enjoy the protection of Anemone. Banggai are the ones most likely to hide in an Anemone, especially a small one.
Clownfish just ignore Cardinalfish in my experience. It's like they are invisible.

Ok great! Thank you for your response. I do have a tiny tiny Banggai Baby and he like to hang around in the BTA (hopefully he doesn't get eaten) and I was worried it would keep the Clowns from going in. Do you know if the female has to be the first on to "enter" the BTA? My male seems more like he wants to get in, but doesn't. I was just curious if it is a dominance thing ***)
