those metal halides ...... what would be good for a fixture for a 29 gallon. i was thinking a 150 watt 24 inch bulb with PFO ballast and 2 55 watt pc for $500.
is this good to keep anything i want and is this a good deal

That sounds like a good set up, im not sure if 150 watts would be enough for clams, better leave it to the people who have them, but i would think it would be. Good luck and get us some pics when you get your lights! todd

In a 29 gallon you might get by with a 75 watt metal halide light you can get them for around $100 Even if you had to have 2 it would still be cheaper lol.

If it is a 150watt HQI MH then you can probably keep anything you want in that tank.
