They also had a Rusty Angel, I decided to go with the Potters because of how it was acting in their aquarium. I would only get half of my moneyback anyways. I didnt pay but 35 for the Potter. I have my dad look over the aquarium every week to check everything out since he has a masters degree in Marine Biology. I am also going to have a Blue Hippo Tang, Dot and Dash Butteryfly, Six Line Wrasse, a toby puffer, Mandarin Dragonet, Ocellaris clowns, Royal Gramma, Lawnmower Blenny, and possible a Niger or Pink Tail Triggerfish. What do ya'll think of that stocking?
What size tank are you planning on having with this stocklist? Your hippo needs a 125, your trigger will need at least the same.
I dont know what your levels are, but if the Potters was doing well at the store and is now laying on the substrate in your tank, you have some issues.
I sould say, you need to understand the longterm health of your fish, and then choose which way you want to go with your stock. From the stock that you have listed above it sounds like you want a FOWLR?
You have some very peaceful fish that are small, and some fish that are going to get very large and aggressive (niger trigger = 22", although the largest I have seen in captivity is ~18").
Get rid of the trigger and switch the tang with a kole tang or similar and you can house them for a long time in a 55-75g.
