Thoughts on the Seaclear System II

My 60 Seaclear is 20 years old and has the system in the stand. I love it. I will never buy another glass tank. Acrylic is so much easier to customise than glass.

I'm interested in purchasing SeaClear 50 Reg Sys II RTR tank as a complete novice, and only having fw tanks previously would this be a good starting tank?you discussion on the protein skimmer has been very useful so far thought for what I will need to set this thing up!
