Any suggestions on where these micro bubbles are coming from. I look at everyones tanks and are clear and easy to see through.

Some time i get millions of bubbles that come from my skimmer.. and it takes a bit for them to go away.. But from time to time it does happen to my tank..
Not sure what you are running to cause them.. But list what equipment you have and someone will point it out to you..

Well the water from the tank flows into an over flow box where it is taken to like a ummm 65 to 75 gallon sump. There are three hoses/pipes that suck in water. One goes through a UV sterlelizer and a heater, then goes back into tank. Second one sucks in water and goes directly back into the tank. There is a lot of current and the nozzles are angled up a little to make waves on the top. You can see the flow bring down lots of bubbles and I think thats the problem. The third pipe sucks water into a High Performance Protein Skimmer - Bullet 3, which hasnt been working well. Meaning not makeing bubbles go to the top chamber. I think thats because the tank has nothing to skim out of it right now. Once the water goes through the the skimmer, it is emptyed back into the sump but not into bioball box. Its just lowered under the surface of water and a 90 curve to stop water from coming strait down. Well thats about it and I can post more pictures tomorrow. Oh I forgot, there is a pump in he sump and sucks water into a Refegium. The out flow of the refegium goes directly back into the tank. There are lots of bubbles going into the tank there as well. Picture of this tomorrow also.

Can you list your equipment? Hard to say without a list but most likely sources are canister filters, skimmers and powerheads that are creating a whirlpool at the surface.

Are there any baffles in your sump between the output of the skimmer and the return pumps, and between the overflow output and the return pumps? If not you might add some to stop the bubbles from reaching your return pumps.

No to the first part and If I understand the second question correctly, Yes there are two boxes full of bioballs under the pipes of the outflow of the over flow.

The bioballs only create bubbles, baffles are series acrylic or glass walls that make the water flow over one and then under another one. Stopping the micro bubbles from reaching the return pumps.
