Three Clowns....two fighting....HELP!! **VIDEO**

Here is the story...
I had a 10 gallon tank with two clowns, (that got along great) LR, LS, a few corals ect, ect. The tank was three months old when I upgraded to a 30 gallon and transferred it all over to the other tank. The 30 gallon tank came with a 9 month old Clown and he is much larger than the two I am adding to the tank.
Well, after I got the tank all setup the way I like it, about a week after, the two smaller clowns (previously in the ten gallon) are starting to fight. At least thats what I think. One of them is chasing the other non stop all day long and will not quit until the lights go off. It's so bad that the one thats being chased looks to be very tired and out of breath. Dont really know if thats feasable, but thats what it looks like to me. At times the chaser clown slacks off and then the chaseie clowns goes and hides under a rock/coral....whatever until the other clown finds him and then they go again.
Side note: The third (larger Clown) has no issue in this entire deal. He is ok and not a problem to any other fish.
Does anyone know what they are doing? I am just about to get the chasing clown out of the tank and it's gonna get to make personal freinds with the "john". lol
I have a short vid of the clowns chasing each other.....HERE
WHAT IS GOING ON? Should I let them be? Or should I seperate them?
Thanks for the help.

Do you know what kind of clowns they are? The one being picked on looks to be a clarkii (not sure though) but I can say from experence you need to remove the third one (the one being picked on) the odd one out will die they will kill it... Like I said I had a simaler experence with 2 diffrent types of clowns & had to remove one & if you have 3 ,even the same type, the odd one out can get picked on till death.

You need to remove the clown that is being chased because he will die. I could be totally off base but, it kind of sounds like the two smaller clowns aren't getting along, because maybe the "chaser" is trying to pair up with the larger clown. The "chasee" looks like a true percula to me.

Cool....I guess.
The larger Clown is not chasing at all. I really want the Clown that has alot of black on him.(chasee) He is my favorite and I don't want to see him go. What if I get rid of the other chaser clown? Will the remaining two clowns be ok together?
Thanks for the help.

Well, the true clown is gone. I took him back to the LFS,
but they would not give me any credit because his tailfin was nipped up. I honestly think he will get over it in no time. I guess thats the way it goes somtimes.
Thanks for the help guys. The other fish are doing great with nobody chasing anybody.I hope these guys get along for the rest of their lifespan.

3 clowns do not mix no matter what type they are. take the one out that is getting beat up before he dies. Thats the responsible thing to do.

I had two False and one True. The True is gone to the LFS. I hated to get rid of him, but I really needed to do the right thing. Plus, I wanted a pair and not a single. I didn't want to have to hunt down a True because I havent seen any other but this one in the local area. Oh well, he is gone and everyone is happy.
Sorry I could not have sent him to you Reef. The LFS didn't even give me any store credit cause his tail fin was nibbled on. Don't know if he will be any good to anyone else. He was put into the main 150 gallon display tank. He will not be sold so I know he has a decent place to live now.
Thanks for the help guys, I appreciate it.

Its ok, ive been looking for a true perc to go with my true perc. You see mine was paired, and I was going to buy a pair, but the female died in lfs quarantine, so I bought him. They havent gotten another true perc in since i bought him. This was about a little over a month ago, What should i do, can i get a fully grown female?, or should I get a smaller juvinile? Sorry to hijack, but he was a perfect fish for me. How big was he anyway?

Reef Diver.....If it were me personally, I'd just get a healthy True Perc. No matter the size, they will both work out their sexes and eventually be happy.
His size was roughly about 1-3/4" long or so. Had some black on him too. Really cool fish with a neat personality.
Here is a pic......

LOL! You silly Reef Diver!
Hey, thanks for the comment. The first pic was when I just put the Anemone in. As you can see, the Anemone was bright white, the second he looks kinda stained. I am guessing it has somthing to do with the lights or somthing? Dunno.

Actually Joe, the stain is a good sign, no anemone should be bright white, unless it is meant to be so(ie. solely predatory anemone, and deepwater varietys) the stain is actually his zooxanthealle returning.
No really have the figured out how to clone clowns!!!!???
Yes I am crazy, but there is no need to call me so, just stare, and wonder what it is exactly that is going on within this scrambled brain of mine.
Best Regards
