tiger shark problems

i recently bought a tiger shark because i have always like these interesting sharks, but the one i bought keeps hiding in the bakc of my live rock. he's about a foot long in a 125 gallon by himself. Im not sure if he's still in shock or if there naturally just scared of humans. i've had him for a couple days now and he only comes out at night is this normal?

Hmmmmm....I HIGHLY doubt you have a tiger shark. They get around 20 feet long and arent even available in the hobby. Does the shark look like the shark in my avatar? If so then its a Brownbanded Bamboo shark(Chiloscyllium punctatum) and that behavior is normal. Do a search here for "brownbanded bamboo" or just "bamboo shark" and you'll find more info.

yah i looked up bambo sharks and it looks a lot more like that.
im still deciding on the whole homeless thing , sounds good
