Wow, Tiger is so out of whack he's got the 4th worst score of the whole tourney this week on a course that he has absoluley dominated in the past.
This doesn't look good.
Golf is like 90% mental and this divorce thing clearly has him out of shape in a bad way.
I knew it would take its toll on him, but i didn't expect anything like this.

OH STOP LOL!!!!!!!!!! It just shows that "some" athletes are humans too......the scary thing IMO would be if this DID NOT affect him at all....
I hope he gets his life squared away so he can move on....

Once he gets worked over by a couple of old bimbos, probably at once....

I just get tired of him getting more news coverage than the current leaders. I know he is shooting worse in the current tourney than he has since joing the pro circuit but I can't tell you who is currently winning.

he is the biggest face in golf. Without him golf is boring. Its been proven that the tournaments he is in gets better ratings than the ones he isnt. He is the face of the game.

Mickelson has turned into the new face of golf. He's likeable, and people banned together behind him when he left golf to go be with his wife while she was battling cancer. The only thing I don't like about him is his smarmy attitude. There was a major a couple years back that he came in second behind Woods, and when they interviewed him, he stated that he was happy with 2nd, and just having the chance to play was good enough for him. Arnold Palmer railed him for that statement, saying NO ONE should ever accept second. He kinda reminds me of Opie Taylor.

Try again. Woods is the face plain and simple. Mickelson has always played second fiddle. America loves winners. Woods will be back to winning soon and everybody will forget about his issues. Just like Kobe and Jordan.

Looks like Woods won't even make the Ryder Cup team. He's in a slump, most likely due to his personal problems. The guy hasn't finished in the Top 10 in the last three tourneys he's played in. The only face Woods has seen in the last several months is that stripper he's been sleeping with. The only swing coach that could help his game won't even have anything to do with him. What he needs to do is take a year off and reevaluate both his personal life and his game.

Woods is certainly the face of the "novice golf fan" (for lack of better description). Mickelson has been more popular with people that REALLY follow the sport up close for some time now. The final round of the Masters had a monster TV rating this year, that was Phil, not Tiger.

He will likely still make the team, he is 10th in points right now, so he does need to make the cut this week at Whistling Straights. There are a lot of people that could fix his swing, not just Butch. I like Hank Haney, but I don't like what he has done with Tiger's swing.

The question is, would you want Tiger on the Ryder Cup team with the state his game is in right now? His record hasn't been exactly stellar in that event or the Presidents Cup. If he doesn't post at least a Top 5 in the PGA Championship, I sure wouldn't want him on it.

The masters is the super bowl of golf. It will always have a huge following. Mickelsons wifes cancer battle an dhim doing his thing helped the story line.

My point was the final round was up in ratings 3 points from the year before....Because of Phil.
