How long before my clowns will move into my Anemone ? they are true perc's, and I have a Carpet anemone not a sadle Carpet. Just put them in the tank last night but they don't even look interested in the carpet, should I consider getting a seabae or LTA , or should I just give them time .
thanks , Greg

Their anemone of choice in the wild is the carpet, so your selection is perfect. Do you knowif your fish are wild caught or captive raised? If they are raised without anemones, it takes a while for them to get the idea. If they were wild caught, shouldnt take long at all. My tomato jumped into his anemone within minutes of putting itin the tank. It was funny, he was so excited he watched me the entire time!

you could try the picture method maybe, where you tape a picture of a clown in an anemone on the outside of the tank

I read where someone posted yesterday that the pic method didn't work for them.
I have two sets of clowns ( different tanks) and I've had them all for about 9 months and they still don't host their anemones. I don't think they ever will.
