My lfs got a sun coral last week and I ment to do some research on it but have been tied up with the plumbing on my 125.
questian 6 head yellow sun coral
46 bow with fuge uv and coralife skimmer
192W PC
medium flow
tank is three years old with perfect prams
shrooms, leathers, and polyps
damsels, gobie, maroon clown to be switched out and replaced with seahorses
love to get an answer by the top of the hour if any one knows this coral

sun corals are awesome. No requirements for light as they are non photosynthetic. they do require feeding on a regular basis. I spot feed mine a few times a week and I have had it for about a year and a couple of months. It has tripled its size and buds have popped up all over the tank. If you have the patience I think it is worth it.

Suncorals require shade are excellent water perameters. They require the utmost attention by the experienced dedicated hobbyist because each o the polyps need to be individually feed on a constant basis.. If you can handle it, the rewards are the most pretty coral in the hobby, IMO..
