Can someone ID this for me please. It grew up overnight in my 29gal Biocube that has been cycling for 13 days with LR and LS

Looks pretty fine to me. Almost like somebody overseeded with winter rye grass

I was going to say if its kinda thick blades it could be soemthing like maidens hair, i have some type of grass on my LR that i have not been able to identify, its think bladed and dense.
Once your tank is done cycling get a tang, he will mow it down!

Assuming your tank is big enough.
My tangs eat everything in site!

Looks like Turtle Weed and Cyanobacteria to me. Common in new tanks with high nutriants and too little circulation.

For what it's worth there are quite a few of them sitting on top of one of the rocks and a few more scattered here and there. I thought they were just air bubbles that either came out of the rock or something growing on it. However I have only been at this for about two weeks now so I don't pretend to know anything.

Touch one gently and see if it floats to the top like an air bubble. Very well could be bubble algea which is bad. If popped, it spreads. The other looks like hair algea to me. Also bad if it is.

Thanks everyone for the responces. I hope it is air bubbles, sure looks like it. We added some crabs and snails yesterday and it seems like some of the grass looking stuff was gone this morning.
