Time to start cycling my new reef tank!

Okay, I've got the pre-drilled tank setup with wet/dry filter. It is a 75 gallon tank, and I am running a wet/dry for a 125, to keep it extra clear.
I'm ready to start my cycle. Can someone give me a brief run-down of what I need to get before I start cylcing. I haven't even added the water yet.
I have about $500 to spend on everything I need to start cycling. I greatly appreciate any help! Thanks.

I'd get LS and uncured LR to cycle the tank with, or you can go with cured LR and drop a couple of raw uncooked shrimp in there to start the cycle. Have test kits available for ammonia, nitrites and nitrates also.

Do you have a skimmer?

I am going to add the skimmer to the wet/dry filter once the cycle is complete. I am going to get one of the urchin in-sump skimmers. I am thinking about adding 50 pounds of live sand and 70+ pounds of cured live rock. To start the cycle.
