Tiny Bubbles driving me crazy

Hi All, I have tiny bubbles in my display tank which i can not find the source. I have shut down skimmer, not it. I have also shut down PH's, not it. The only thing that it can be is the return pump is catching bubbles from the overflow return into the sump, or the bubbles are being generated by the return pump/line. Any ideas would be great. I currently run a mag 9.5 as the return pump, from the overflow i have --> durso standpipe, pvc T,Ball valve, sump. The T feeds my refuge which overflows back to the sump ( near my Mag ) i figured this way, critters would get sucked up into the display. The flow from here is very slow so i do not think bubbles are coming from here but will turn pump around as a last resort. Thanks

When did the problem start? Did you add or change pumps/plumbing?

I had that problem a while back and took a flashlight to the sump and saw a small tornado by the suction of my return pump , simular to the bathtub drain when you let the water out. I put a T on the suction and raised the water level and problem went away. This might be what is going on with yours. Good luck.. Terry

Hi, the only change i have made is going from a rio3100 to a mag9.5 for my return pump. The bubbles diminished, but not gone.
I will look in my sump ....
Thanks
