Tiny Bubbles

I have some new fish arriving today and I notice this morning that I have small tiny bubbles starting to accumulate on my live rock? What are the various causes of this and best solutions to treat and fix?

How long has the tank been set up?

What are your parameters? It sounds like your tank is getting ready for an algae bloom.

Sometimes it is nothing.
If they are associated with slimey algae it may be dinoflagellates which can be a pain to clean up. Just plain bubbles on rock shouldn't be a big issue.

I had it happen in my 72g once after it finished cycling. Next thing I knew, I had hair algae sprouting up on my rocks. That's when I fired up the skimmer and that took care of that. Kept it at bay to give the CUC finish it off.
