I have a mantis shrimp living under my bubble coral, I just spotted him and I was wondering if anyone knew what to do. I think he is hurting my bubble coral, and don't want him to hurt anything else in my tank. He is inside that hole that I circled, next to Thumbalina my sexy shrimp.

First be sure you can positive ID it is a mantis.
Then-
see the little hole?....
Find a coat hanger.....
Bend it into a straight section.....
Jab it into the hole while chanting ...."Die!"

anyway to take that coral out? to inspect whether it is in fact a mantis?
+1 grab the coral while he is in it and take it out. A littles squirt of fresh water into the hole is a Tupperware tub should flush him out. Wear gloves, diver call them thumb splitters for a reason.

How long have you had the bubble coral? If it's a mantis I'm surprised that your sexy shrimp isn't gone by now.
also... don't kill it... i'll take it!

I have had the bubble coral for about a week now. I am able to take the coral out. the ID of the mantis shrimp, I am almost positive that it is indeed a mantis shrimp, after spotting him last night I did all kinds of looking up online to ID him, I like getting hitchhikers but after finding them I do some research to find out what I have. And the coat hanger thing I think that would hurt my coral even more. I don't want to kill him, so what kind of trap are we talking about? thank you for all your feedback

if you are able to take the coral out forget the trap and take it out. That would be the easiest
If he is a Chorisquilla hystrix watch your fingers, he is a smasher!!!....

Thank you. After my husband gets home from work we will take out the coral and see about getting him out.

You could set the coral in a bowl of freshwater for a moment. It won't hurt the coral. Might not be real good for the mantis, but it will get it out. I had one loose in one my tanks. Put an octopus in that tank. Haven't heard any popping since... which is unfortunate cuz I wanted to catch it but I wouldn't have a place to keep it anyway.

i thought she was just REALLY bad at circling shrimp in MSPAINT

I would say time to go get the old eyes checked if that was the case. Or maybe its one of those 3D drawings, you just have to look at it at the right angle.

I'm not a complete tard. I circled the hole because i knew that someone would think I was talking about Thumbalina, my sexy shrimp.

If anything, just put the bubble in some reef dip so that you don't do any damage to the bubble coral. This will also provoke the shrimp to come out pretty quickly as well.
