You are correct I had an 8 inch Clown Trigger with my Lion fish, although my Volitan was over a foot in length. Both died (including my entire tank of fish) while I was on a honeymoon in December of 2007. I had to completely restock the tank. The Clown had no issues with my Volitan but I couldn't get my hands anywhere near the tank, he would actually jump out of the water to try and bite me if I was touching my lights.
