Sarah: Thats horrible. Lucky you were home! Thats one reason why I don't want tons of lights. I bet I would burn my house down. Who made the lights? I'll make sure I don't buy those. heh

No>> I recommend the lights from all the research we did it was just a (freak) thing!! It can just happen. Again JBJ were wonderful and it can happen i.e. mix water & electricity and just pray!!

heres another, as i was saying its been up for 6 weeks. i have one 6500k 175 watt MH supplemented with one actinic light. for filtration i have a 10 gal. DIY wet dry/sump with a DIY protein skimmer bulth working great i started with live sand and about 15 lbs. of live rock fish seem to be very happy and the levels are perfect. i have done a 10% H2O change every week just to keep them that way.

Hi sara, I live in Manassas, very close to Fairfax Co. My lights haven't caugt on fire but my anenomes look excellent I have a pink tipped in my 75 and a condi in my 20 with a large maroon clown, my rose is in my 10, they seem to be doing well. Are you interested in buying my lights and Jeeze the tanks. I'm ready to sell:confused:

By the way my PH is 8.4 in all 3 tanks temp is 79, salinity is .023 in all, my water parameters are excellent with the exception of high phosphates in my 75, doing a water change 2/1 then we'll see. My pink tipped is doing well. My LFS said my lighting is good as the pink tipped is a low light anenome. Anyone ?

I've had my tank up for about 6wks. too and I have an anemone just like that, it loves salami! My fish and anemones are thriving in my 55gal. tank, the weirdest thing is that I've had f/w tanks all my life(13 years) but this is my first salt tank: )
