To all the Illinoisians out there

Does anyone from Illinois know where I might be able to get a nice setup? I live in the Chicago area and I'm looking to try and get 100 +. I just graduated from college and don't have much money to spend. I can afford probably about 500 right now and once the bills start to get paid off, I will be able to pump more money into this. If you think that I'm way out of my mind trying to get a 100 + tank for $500, please let me know. I have had freshwater my whole life, I have a well established 55 right now and I'm looking to give salt a try. I love reading all your posts and looking at the pictures.

i would say either search the classified adds, check the forums here often, decide distance to travel and do a newspaper search.
complete packages are hard to find for the price , when they do come open , they go quickly. save your money and be prepared to buy fast.

There is a GCCA swap meet April 22 in Arlington Heights . I don`t think I can post the link to Greater Chicago Cichlid Association but search it . I picked up some nice tanks at the last swap and there is a classified section on the site to sell and mention what they are bringing to the swap .

i know its not 100+ but if you cant afford something bigger I have a 75 gallon set up with stand and tank and canopy on craigslist right now for 275 let me know

I have a 120 Oceanic I would sell for $300 and a 75 gallon perfecto that I would sell for $100. I live in central Illinios. The 120 is actually in my van so if you are willing to cover gas I could meet you part way.

Newreefer- Are you selling a 120 with a stand or is it just the tank? What city are you located in?

I have a eco-system fuge and overflow if interested,(salt setup) 1 year old for 250.00 Also I have a 90 gal perfecto bare tank only for 150.00 thats a year old with oak trim. Plus pumps and alot of accesories for salt. Let me know. I live in Springfield IL. I could meet in the middle somewhere. I have to many tanks.
