To feed or not to feed? ...Yellow Polyos

Let me know if I should or should not feed my yellow polyps. I have a 55g with 190w Power compacts.

I don't have a yellow one, but I feed my brown polyps brine shrimp. They love it.

You can, but not necessary. They'll do fine under good lighting.

My yellow polyps started as a single polyp ... I direct feed them once a week and the colony is too numerous to count. Mine seem to grow/multiply quicker as a result of the direct feedings.

I feed mine brine shrimp. I also squirt them with microvert once a week.

My yellow polyps bacame more brown instead of yellow. What may be a reason for this?

Sometimes if good lighting is not present polyps will change color- most often brown. How many watts/gallon do you have?

I feed mine live brine shrimp and DT's Phytoplankton. They enjoy both very much. Good lighting will also help them multiple rapidly. HTH
