I am going away for a few days and I don't know whether to get someone to watch the fish or will they be okay. I am leaving Thursday night and will return late Sunday, will they be okay if I feed them Thursday night? Also I have timers so lights are not a problem. Fish I have: 2 T/R percs, purple firefish, 2 PJ cards, and a orange spotted goby. Thanks for the help. :help:

I usually only add a gallon every two to three days so it should be okay if I top off right before I leave right?

I've left for two separate week long trips since I got my tank started. I intentionally over-topped the tank (and lowered the salinity) before I left to accomodate evaporation losses and fed more heavily before I left. I have a automatic feeder but from reading other posts I didn't even use it as there seemed to be too high a chance of malfunction. Both times the fish were fine. (On this past trip I even had two fish in a QT). I think I remember Bang Guy stating that feeding was not necessary for trips up to a week long. I certainly wouldn't worry about a trip of only a few days duration.
During the winter months I only lose about 2 gallons per week from my 75. A cover on my tank seems to cut down a lot of the evaporation losses.
