is it possible to have to much flow for a 30 gallon tank? I have 2 Maxi jet 1200's which put out like 295gph each and also a whisper 60 which is another 330. On a different site their calculator said I need 295gph so my question is, do i have to much?

No idea yet, I dont think I am going to put anything in there until next august but I am leaning towards the more hardy easier corals since I dont want to lose the flow and clean look of the tank by taking out a power head

well with your current setup you are getting 30x turn over which is quite alot of flow! you could keep a wide range of corals in that flow providing they can survive under wat ever lights you run! but to answer your question..no i dont think you have too much flow! just position your powerheads so that they dont make a sand storm!

well if you not going to keep sps then i wouldnt add it as the corals you are wanting to keep dont really need that much flow! the extra flow might bother them or damage their tissue!
