Hi guys,
Could you both do me a huge favor and list your e-mail addreses again- I lost who gave me what. Thanks.
OK, more qs for you. Have fun...
Mark-
That pet store started selling LS 3 wks ago in (10lb ?) bags.
What stuff are you looking to get rid of?
Where can you get a better deal on LR?
Does an icecap need a fan or heat up the water?
What's a wet/dry trickle filter with sump (It obviously sits on the floor...)
Steve-
Nice to know that sand comes in big bags- I won't need as much as thought.
Yes, I have a canopy, but not like you're thinking. I have 2 sep 18in square hoods that hold one bulb ea with a plastic water shield. I'm told it can't be converted to hold the kind of lighting I need. I'm up for building my own, but I have no idea how. (that's a guy thing) My dad's got a wood shop if I want to make it nice. Anyhow, I suppose I want 96watt bulbs, but the set up you just got sounds nice and for a great price! Where did you get it?
To the both of you:
What are the best places web sites where I can get a better deal on my wet/dry filter, protien skimmer and pulsating power heads?
What are good (and well priced) brands?
How much does your electric bill go up with the lights you have for both your tanks? That's a lot of watts, especially at 10-12hrs a day!
(My husband's going to kill me...)
You know, just to make life easier, I think I'll get whatever light set up will be good for most corals, etc... This light thing is confusing me. Can the both of you just tell me what you'd get and where you'd get it if you were in my shoes?
Thanks, the both of you are life savers!!
PS. My husband said if I can find a good deal on a used larger tank w/out set up, I can go for it. I'd like a 100 or 125 gal. Since you both live pretty close, would the both of you please keep your eyes open and let me know if you see anything in the future? I'd really appreciate it. Thanks!
