To Sump or not to Sump

I have a 29 Gallon Eclipse system with fish LR and some crabs and snails (Not quite FOWLR but not quite reef either???)

I am debating whether or not to get a sump, but I don't know where to start.
Can anyone give me some pro's/con's of a sump, and also what are some good/not too expensive ones to look at

If you're looking for a wet/dry sump, you might want to look at a certain
doctors website at the megaflow sumps. I bought one for my 30, upgraded
to a 55 and it's always worked great. I couldn't be happier with the quality of it
either. For an overflow box you might want to look into lifereef. They IMO are
the best in the hobby.

A sump will help keep the water better.You can put your heater, skimmer, and thermometer in the supm also.
