I'm not sure if they are called toadfish or frogfish, but they are butt-ugly and agressive as hell. I asked the dude at the LFS about it. He said he wasn't sure if the fish would damage corals..

Both toadfish and frog fish technically are 'reef-safe.' They will not bother corals, but unfortunatley both (toads especially) will swallow anything that fits into their enormous mouths. Bo

ok. thanx. so you think they would eat mushrooms and ricordias, and star polyps?

I think he is talking about them eating other fish and not corals.

That was kind of my point but I did see some in sacramento in with clams, and LR. There were some crabs in there also, and the kid said they fed him twice a day, and has not bothered anything for over a month.
