toadstool going new stems/heads?

i have a toadstool that is about 6" tall and 4"wide. at the base of it i realized that there are 2 more heads growing! the problem is, i dont want a tank full of toadstools, does this normally happen? should i let them grow a little more and then pull them off the rock because as of right now i wouldnt be able to get them off unless with tweezers or something.

let em grow! if it gets to the point when you are over-run, then frag as necessary.

can you frag these guys in the display tank because they are connected to like 5 different rocks that hold my rocks together...
i no they release some kinda slime or shed or somethign like that because when i put my 2 sureflow mods on the toadstool closed up and released something like skin or slime

Should be fine. The most you would need to do just to be safe is run a little carbon for a few days, but that is always a good idea with softies anyway.

I snip my leather and mushrooms in the tank all the time when they get out of controls.I run carbon in my tank to.Then take a little piece of live rock snap a tooth pick in half glue it to the rock and slide the leather frag on the tooth pick.In a week should be attached to the rock
